    The Role

    The Customer Service Advisor will deliver an exceptional level of service to Onecom customers ensuring that every communication is both a professional and positive experience.

    This is an ideal position for someone looking to further their career in Customer Service within a vibrant office environment in the heart of the Solent Business Park and just a moment's walk from the new Whiteley shopping centre.

    The successful candidate will be confident in communicating with customers, answering inbound calls promptly and responding to all types of queries.

    Main responsibilities;

    • Provide an excellent service to existing customers by telephone, email and web chat;
    • Respond promptly to customer queries ensuring customer's expectations are always met;
    • Handle and resolve customer queries including, but not limited to:
      • Billing issues
      • Tariff changes
      • Order updates
      • Roaming issues
      • Network errors
    • Provide advice and guidance on the use of handsets and software;
    • Manage the warranty and repair process including handset diagnostics;
    • Manage customer's mobile and fixed line accounts to ensure optimum efficiency;
    • Build and retain customer loyalty by delivering an exceptional customer experience;
    • Acting as the key 'middle man’ coordinating with the customer, the mobile network, our suppliers, couriers and internal departments; and
    • Building and managing internal relationships with other teams and departments.

      The Role

      The Connections team provide crucial back-office support for the organisation to ensure efficient delivery of services to our customers. This role will predominantly focus on the validation, approval and provisioning of sales orders for preferred networks and suppliers for mobile and fixed line services.

      Main responsibilities:

      • Processing of Customer Mobile Connections on all networks, to support sales order provisioning across the Telesales and Field Sales departments including;
        • new connections;
        • ports;
        • upgrades and
        • tariff changes.
      • Management and delivery of Customer orders for Fixed Line and other Solutions to support sales order provisioning for our Telesales teams;
      • Liaising with Sales teams & Care team on sales order and connection requirements;
      • Support Verbal Customer Order Verification (where required);
      • Validate and approve Sales Orders based on pre-defined parameters;
      • Support with the resolution of issues arising from actions or events involving administrative functions throughout the progress of an order from sale to provision of the service to the customer;
      • Act as a liaison between the company and its external providers to meet the requirements to successfully provision customer orders; and
      • Undertaking training and evaluation to enhance personal performance, development, and work productivity.

            Rate of pay: £5 per hour / £200 per week

            Onecom is recruiting for a Finance Apprentice to join our Whiteley Finance team with the potential to gain full time employment with the organisation.

            The role:

            The Finance Apprentice will work within the Finance Department for a period of 12 months, combining work experience, on and off the job training (including the completion of an AAT qualification).

            The Finance Apprentice will begin working within the Ledger team and will also be encouraged to undertake job rotation across the wider Finance department to gain a broad range of experience.

            Main responsibilities:

            • Support credit control process ensuring money is collected on a timely basis;
            • Produce collection/chase letters and monthly customer statements;
            • Administer copy invoice requests;
            • Process credit card payments;
            • Ensure correct and accurate information on customer accounts is maintained at all times;
            • Support with processing of supplier invoices and credit notes;
            • Reconcile supplier statements;
            • Obtain purchase invoices from supplier online portals;
            • Provide weekly expected payments report with corresponding progress notes;
            • Attend weekly Ledger meetings to discuss payment progress and resolve any issues; and
            • Assist with any ad hoc requests to support the Ledger Team.

            Other possible responsibilities beyond the Ledger Finance team:

            • Support base management and commission reconciliation processes;
            • Assist in the reconciliation of Intercompany accounts and balances;
            • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns; and
            • Assist in month end reconciliations.

            The successful candidate will possess the following key skills:

            • GCSE grades A-C in Maths and English (or equivalent) but not essential;

              The role:

              The Service Administrator is responsible for ensuring that all company returns and repairs are processed and managed correctly while delivering a high level of service to our customers and the internal business.

              This will encompass efficient handling of customer and supplier return and repair requests, including checking for accuracy in terms of quantity, description, part/model, reason type, price and condition.

              Main responsibilities:

              • Returns and Repair Management, including creation of returns, testing and validation for Mobile, IT and Telephony devices and accessories, including:
                • Validation of Returns;
                • Goods In;
                • Quote Management;
                • Dispatching of goods;
                • Testing and Data wiping (if required);
                • Creation of inspection/fault reports (if required); and
                • Creation of customer invoices.
              • Device programming based on customer requirements (if required);
              • Ensure all materials and goods are stored correctly to minimise the possibility of damage or deterioration;
              • Responsible for returns and repairs processing;
              • Ensure all information is tracked and kept up to date on the company system;
              • Comply with company policies, processes and procedures;

                Onecom is recruiting for a Customer Service Account Manager to join our Evolve Telecom office in Shoeburyness.

                The Role:

                As a Customer Support Advisor, you will be supporting our corporate accounts over the telephone, via email and also assisting the Business Advisors on day to day activities.

                TThe successful candidate will be professional, have good common sense and respond back to the customer in a timely manner and within SLA, whether they have a resolution to a query or not. They will need to be technically minded not essentially in the mobile industry, as full product training will be provided. They must be able to work as part of a team and also support the Business Advisors.

                The role provides a very exciting opportunity for the right individual to operate within a challenging and fast-paced environment and help an already successful business further develop.

                Responsibilities will include:

                • Answering queries from Corporate and consumer Customers and acting as the 'middle-man' between the customer, the mobile network, suppliers, couriers and internal departments;

                • Prioritising workload and using a ticketing system to adhere to strict SLA's;

                    The Quality Control department provides the business with an overview of how different departments are performing and identifies key areas for improvement.

                    The Quality Controller is responsible for providing effective compliance support by listening to sales calls and ensuring that they are of requisite standard and for assisting sales performance by producing sales quality performance reports.

                        Revive-a-phone are an award winning phone repair company looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Mobile & Tablet Repair Technician to service throughout the Portsmouth and Southampton area.

                        The Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing faults and issues and carrying out a range of repairs, including but not limited to; broken screens, battery repairs and home button replacements. All repairs will be carried out in a specially equipped repair vehicle and the Technician will be required to drive to each customer’s location within a timely manner based on the schedule of work allocated for the day ahead.
